Pieces of me (and Cara)
Oh Cara, why must you be in so many pieces! What are the odds that I will finish you? The knitting was fun, but blocking, ironing, and stitching together 13 pieces, not to mention sewing the lining, what are the odds that I will do that? And what's with those oddly shaped pocket flaps in the upper right hand corner of the picture? Is it just me, or do they look like ...? Oh well, maybe it's just me.

Maybe it doesn't need those pockets after all. Come on, are you really going to put anything in them? I say bag the phallic pockets and find beauty in simplicity.
You need to borrow my Scunci steamer....it actually makes blocking fun. Seriously. It works so fast to get the peices into the right shapes, you then have motivation to do the seaming correctly...and viola, a new cool bag.
I would put it aside until after the exam, then borrow the steamer, and my vogue book and go at it some afternoon when you don't have the kids.
