Finished!
Dudes, I finally finished the Cara Bag. Remember this thing? It took me two seconds to knit the 13 pieces that make up the Cara Bag, but then it languished, unfinished in my office for 6 or 7 months! Yesterday Lynae & I took a purse finishing class at 3 Bags Full, and voila, finis. I cut the lining pieces at the class, then Susie (who taught the class) sewed the lining for me while I sewed the 13 pieces together. I told Lynae I was going to sew the lining in the bag as soon as I got home, and she had a doubtful look in her eye (she clearly knows me well) but I did it.

The bag turned out great! It's so cute. :)
YAY, you finished!
It wasn't that I doubted, it was just that you mentioned you needed to run and get a b-day present. I know how easily it is to get sidetracked!
Like me! WE spent the day either at the skating rink, or on ours in the backyard.
Nothing got done on my purse but the decision to rip out the inside and do-over. I decided I don't really like the pockets all the way at the bottom.
Since I forgot my camera yesterday to chronicle our adventures...I guess it will give me a chance to take pics of the steps. (And to document how to make those awesome squared corners! Who know it would be so easy and cool?!?!?)
Your bag looks AWESOME btw!
